Dr David Myers
Dr Myers has worked as a general practitioner for more than 40 years. He trained at the Middlesex hospital in London, qualifying in 1969. After initially undertaking training towards a surgical career, he changed direction and moved into general practice. He specialised in occupational health as an NHS GP before moving into the private sector in 1980. His particular interests are in acute medicine, paediatrics and mental health.
Dr Vanessa Eisman
Dr Vanessa Eisman qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1996 and entered general practice in 2004. She worked in obstetrics and gynaecology, genitourinary medicine, neonatology and Accident and Emergency medicine at University College London Hospital before moving into general practice. She has diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology, and family planning. Her special interests are paediatrics, mental health, genitourinary medicine, women’s health and menopause management.
Dr Joshua Plaut
Dr Joshua Plaut qualified from the Royal Free & University College Medical School in 2001, having completed his preclinical training at Cambridge University. He worked in general, vascular and neurosurgery before moving into general practice. He joined the Eisman Myers GP practice in 2020. Dr Plaut has experience in all aspects of general practice, including paediatrics, mental health, long-term conditions and care of the elderly. He has a particular interest in complex medical care, palliative care, ophthalmology and men’s health.
